International Leather Orders

These instructions are for international orders, excluding Canada.  If you are a Canadian trade customer shipping will be done via UPS and you should contact us by phone or email. 

How to order samples

  • Please contact us with your sample order.
    • List the leathers you want samples of (ex. K35 Modern Black, RT#3 Restoration Wicker, etc.)
    • You can order up to 8 samples. Samples ship via USPS and will cost $5-$10 depending on order size. 
    • Include an email address where the PayPal invoice should be sent. 
    • Once payment is received (USD), samples will be mailed to your verified PayPal shipping address.

How we ship your leather

  • All international orders will be shipped from Leather Hide Store (LHS) to a freight forwarder in the United States. Our standard US shipping rates will apply.
    • Shipping arrangements with a freight forwarder to the international delivery address are the customer's responsibility. Required international paperwork will be the freight forwarder's responsibility.
    • LHS is not responsible for any fees, duties, custom charges, or taxes.
    • Minimum order size is 2 full hides or equivalent.
  • Any freight forwarder shipping requirements must be communicated to LHS prior to placing your order.
    • This includes box size and weight limitations set by the freight forwarder.
    • Some box size limitations may require LHS to fold the leather for shipping. This will require an approval from the customer.

How to order and pay

  • LHS accepts PayPal, wire transfers & certified bank checks for international orders. Payment is in USD.
    • Please contact us so we can assist with your order. We will respond within 24 hours (M-F).
    • We work closely with customers to help find the best leather and the correct amount needed for a project.
    • Once this is determined, we will send the customer a PayPal invoice with order details and total amount due.
  • Orders processing through PayPal.
    • The PayPal shipping address must be that of the freight forwarding service.
    • Shipping address MUST be verifiable by PayPal.
    • Customers can easily set the freight forwarder as the shipping address in their PayPal account by going to Settings > Address > Add Address. Contact PayPal if you need assistance.
    • Once payment is received, orders will ship within 3 business days and an email confirmation plus tracking can be provided. Thank you!
